We’re two roommates living on the vibrant Binney Street, and we’re on a mission to banish boredom from our lives, one hobby at a time.
Background
You see, like many others, we found ourselves stuck in the rut of routine, yearning for something more exciting to fill our days. That’s when the idea for Bored on Binney was born. We realized that the world is full of fascinating activities and hobbies just waiting to be explored, and what better way to shake things up than by diving headfirst into the unknown?
Whether it’s mastering the art of bread-making, attempting to learn a new language, or trying our hand at extreme frisbee (yes, that’s a thing), we’re always up for a challenge. And while not every venture may end in wild success, we’re committed to sharing our experiences, the highs and the lows, with all of you.
But Bored on Binney is more than just a chronicle of our adventures—it’s a resource for anyone looking to inject a little excitement into their own lives. Along the way, we’ll be offering up tips, tricks, and the occasional cautionary tale to help guide you through your own explorations.
Our Goals
- Start at least one new hobby every week for the remainder of 2024
- Obviously some hobbies require a lot of time, even a lifetime, so the time between our beginning a hobby and writing about it will vary
- At the end of the year, evaluate our favorite new hobbies and continue learning about and enjoying them!
